Indigen Armor was conceived as an answer to the short comings of existing retro-fit and high mobility armor vehicles that had been utilized by the founders when they were U.S. Special Operations personnel. First hand experience in the field has taught us there is no substitute for highly developed armor technology coupled to a sophisticated, yet simple vehicle package.
Indigen Armor designs, engineers and manufacturers purpose-built armored vehicles. Indigen builds both armored sedans and trucks from the ground up that look representative of OEM vehicles found worldwide. 
Our vehicles are unique, designed to meet the customers’ specific needs and are engineered as a total system to provide a no compromise solution. Our blast and ballistic mitigation technology utilizes a hybrid combination of ceramics, light gauge steel and composite sandwiches. These combinations together, provide rigidity in a ballistic event and just enough elasticity to flex in a blast.

Indigen Armor’s rapid prototyping, engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities have directly resulted in the award of three separate US Government vehicle production contracts. Due to the sensitive nature of these projects we are unable to disclose quantity, design specifications or application parameters.

Indigen Armor recently unveiled the Non-Standard Tactical Truck (NSTT.) The NSTT is an armored, 4-door, 4-wheel drive, turbo diesel pick-up truck. This truck is purpose-built, literally from the ground up. The NSTT was designed to afford SOF soldiers greater mobility in urban, desert, woodland, jungle, mountainous, and arctic terrain. The chassis, suspension, power train and armored occupant safety cell were engineered specifically to carry large payloads across rough landscapes in denied areas.
The NSTT offers scalable armor packages to meet multiple threat levels. Its 6.0 turbo diesel engine runs on JP8 and other military diesel fuels. Internally transportable in an MH-47 helicopter, the NSTT can accommodate a variety of low-profile or overt tactical body styles. This allows the end user to change the vehicle’s profile at the depot level.
An ideal, lightweight alternative to heavy legacy vehicles, the NSTT comfortably accommodates four operators with their combat gear, communications equipment, and C4ISR technology. It is perfect for special operations, defense, paramilitary and security organizations that require a reliable and robust off-road capability in high threat environments.
